Our Story
Coquina Logistics was built by someone who has worked every level of transportation and warehousing — and knows exactly what it takes to build an operation that lasts.

The Founder
Coquina Logistics was founded on a simple premise: the best consulting comes from people who have actually done the work. Not studied it. Not observed it. Done it.
Since 1996, our founder has worked across every level of transportation and warehousing operations — from managing distribution facilities and carrier networks to building freight brokerage operations and advising 3PL providers on growth strategy.
That breadth of experience is what makes Coquina Logistics different. When we walk into your operation, we're not learning your industry — we already know it. We're there to solve your specific problem.
The name "Coquina" comes from the coastal stone found along the southeastern United States — a material known for its durability and its ability to absorb impact without breaking. That's the kind of operation we help you build.
Experience
Started on the operations floor — learning transportation and warehousing from the ground up. No shortcuts, no theory. Just real work in real facilities.
Moved into management roles overseeing multi-site distribution operations. Responsible for carrier relationships, labor, and cost performance across regional networks.
Expanded into freight brokerage and 3PL consulting, building expertise across every node of the supply chain — from dock to delivery.
Launched Coquina Logistics to bring practitioner-level expertise directly to business owners and operators who need real answers, not generic advice.
Actively consulting across transportation, warehousing, and distribution — working with new entrants, established operators, and freight shippers nationwide.
How We Work
Every recommendation comes from someone who has actually done the work — managed the facility, negotiated the carrier contract, and dealt with the compliance headache.
Your operation is specific. Your challenges are specific. We build strategies around your actual situation, not a template pulled from a textbook.
We tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear. If your operation has a structural problem, we name it — and then we fix it.
Consulting that ends with a slide deck is worthless. We measure success by what changes in your operation, not what we deliver in a binder.
"The difference between a struggling operation and a profitable one is rarely the market — it's the systems behind it."
One conversation is all it takes to understand whether we're the right fit for your operation.
